Exact definition of the insurance category:
MABISZ grade D - EuroVdS N: (recommended risk limit: 5 million HUF)
Single or double-walled metal cabinets.
According to CEN regulations, the destructive test on the weakest element of the cabinet must not be less than 30 RU (in case of complete penetration), and 24 RU in case of partial penetration.
According to empirical data, the total wall thickness of the cover plates should be a minimum of 4.5 mm thick steel sheet, with the door panel being 8-12 mm thick.
Between the two walls, either structural concrete filler or a sandwich structure made of 60 HRC hardness steel plate, or other forms of protection, is installed. The distance between the two sheets must be at least 30 mm. The concrete's strength must ensure protection against penetration.
The locking mechanism provides secure locking through handle actuation in one, three, or four directions. The key cannot be removed from the lock when the lock is open.
The lock mechanism's drill protection is ensured by a drill-resistant plate with a minimum hardness of 60 HRC. The lock must be an EU-certified "A" category approved lock.
The anchoring must withstand a tensile force of 5,000 N (including the weight of the safe). For wall safes, the thickness of the door and frame is the reference, and installation must be in a reinforced concrete bed. (The cylinder lock is not considered a safe lock.)
